Rick and Kory opted out this year and in a late change Ron and Andy will take the year off as well. This leaves us with 14 teams (our old league size). Gordy and Rick have been added to the sub list. Jim Delmar returns to play with Mike. Fred DeMaio joins the league playing with Alan Barone.

This give us room for dust off the rust and fun nights.
13 regular season matches, 2 playoff rounds, 1 "dust off the rust" and 1 fun night.
The fun night is 7/1/2026. If we get a rain out prior to that date we will play a regular match that week and move the fun night to one of the rain dates.

Cost this year is $493 + $70 dues = $563. If you are an Apple Greens member, you just owe the $70 dues. If not, you owe $563.

Please follow these guidelines to improve the league pace of play.

It is important that you, your team mates, and your foursome all make a consistent effort to follow our speed of play guidelines and play "ready golf".  Even if you, personally, are trying to keep pace, you must also remind your fellow players of these guidelines when necessary.

Play “ready golf:” 

Always stay one shot behind the group ahead of you.

If the group in front of you is one hole or more ahead,
YOUR GROUP IS THE PROBLEM!
 

Hit out of order if the other player is not ready to hit.
 

Go to your ball and get ready to hit your next shot while other players are going to their ball.
(Obviously, you should not put yourself in a dangerous position where a player could hit into you.)
 

If you just hit, or your ball is well ahead, help other players find their ball.They have 3 minutes (maximum), but the sooner it’s found, the faster we play.

With one eye on the weather we managed to get Week 4 done with minimal wetness!

It is EVERYONEs responsibility to keep up with the group ahead.
Please keep up the pace.

Take the time to verify your card and your opponent's card match. It only takes a couple of minutes.

The sub fee is going up to $10 this year. Remember, sub money helps pay for prizes. Please be sure to have your subs pay their fees to Dave or John.
 

Our first day of play (dust off the rust) will be Wednesday 4/19/2023 (pair up and go) with the first points-paying night being 4/26/2022. We will have 15 weeks of points-paying play (you play every other team) and 2 position nights. (No 2nd "fun" night).  That is 18 total nights of golf. 8/23 is an open date in case we have a rain out. Tentatively the party/tournament will be 8/30 so pencil that in.
